During the second phase in January 2016, Orion will be selling upgraded technology to customers who wish to purchase luggage through our ORION on-line storefront at Amazon. Customers will have the opportunity to place a GPS tracking device in their luggage that lets them know the location of their baggage at any given moment of their travel. Essentially, it lets them know through travel alerts on their phone. Currently we are in the process of creating both an IOS and Android phone app that will pinpoint where each set of luggage is. Whether it is lost, placed on a different plane, or in the process of going to the baggage claim area, your belongings will be accounted for. Also, Orion offers an onboard alert system that contacts owners via our phone app when their luggage has been opened and tampered with. Orion Travel Tech is also working on a onboard system that weighs luggage so customers can know the exact weight before presenting the luggage to a ticketing agent at the airport.
